I work in the intersection of organizational and experience design. I currently lead UX Strategy for McClatchy, a 30-newsroom media company stretching from The Sacramento Bee to The Miami Herald. I partner with product managers, developers and designers to build user-centered and data-informed experiences. Before moving into this role, I led McClatchy’s design-thinking practice and worked as a product manager on the news-product team.
I was selected for Poynter’s Leadership Academy for Women in Digital Media in 2019 and frequently lecture on design thinking and product strategy, including as a guest lecturer for UNC’s School of Media and Journalism.
Before coming to McClatchy, I founded Kinethics, an interactive compliance-training company focused on anti-corruption law. I developed a love for journalism as a freelance writer and intern at CNN and Reese News Lab.
